Attempt #2 (and there is no #3): So people who voted for Trump believed he really would Make America Great Again. Right? They still do. Now let’s just say that I and 48.3% of the voters knew that Trump serving as president was as bad as not brushing your teeth times 10,000,000,000,000,000 (okay, gotta stop there). We’ve tried our darnedest to fight fiction with fact and cut through the clutter of lies that Trump needs people to believe in so he can stay in power. But now we are done. Time to let these MAGA voters experience the America they voted for. And it will be bad. But I’m not hoping this m’am. I’m KNOWING this. And I am just so sorry that you can’t see this. Trumpies have to feel their vote and it will be bone crushing. And while I don’t want them to be crushed, I do want them to say “Damn that MAGA fool” when they are, eventually, crushed. That pain is the only hope we have because they won’t listen to fact and reason (and basic human rights, economics, ethics yada yada yada). Now, about that vote question you asked me. This same grandma who told you all about that misery and company stuff? Didn’t she also tell you that it’s rude to ask someone who they voted for? It is, you know 😉

Thank goodness you are done! Maybe focus a little more on the collapse of your own party and a little less on the one you don’t align with. Continuing to hope for the wrath of pain and hate-filled rants toward those of us wanting for and working for better, serves no one. (And it will make you miserable in the meantime!). I’ll bet those you preside over in the nonprofit would welcome better also.

Um, no hate filled rants. Just facts. But I know how difficult those are for you to hear right now and I’m sorry. It’s painful now I know. And it’s about to get way worse. But by 2026? 2028? It will eventually turn around. Chin up!

Life in America is getting better by the day. RFKJr is looking out for all the babies and Trump is gutting the DOE. I’m very happy with (not everything) but definitely most of the changes made in just the first 2.5 months!!

Same, Robn. I am happy for many things that have occurred in the last 2 months. To your point, not loving everything as it would be disingenuous to like everything an administration does. But there seems to be a sentiment from some of the commenters here that we need to learn a lesson. Or that they are waiting for a collective day of reckoning from all “Trump supporters” (because we aren’t individuals- just one big group). It is insulting.

I’m finding this fascinating 😂😂. So I persist. It’s not often that I bump into ladies like you so I don’t usually hear “happy” and “Trump”used in the same sentence. Truly I don’t - like, ever.

So can you tell me - what are the top few things you’re “very happy” with in terms of “the changes made in just the first 2.5 months”?

As Amy suggested, I would recommend expanding your circle to include others with differing points of view. I have a community of dear friends and family who often do lot share the same viewpoints. We are able to discuss these with mutual respect. Unfortunately that isn’t always the case here. As for your question regarding my top things I like about the current administration, perhaps when you can answer my question to you, I will be glad to give you the same respect in return.

Maybe you need to expand your circle :) I hear from many ladies who are happy with the administration. I also hear from female friends who aren’t happy.

I am happy with some of the cabinet members- primarily RFK Jr. I am glad about the boarder being tighter, his efforts to get us out of financially supporting a war in Ukraine, withdrawing from WHO, and giving more power back to the States. Just to name a few.

This is rich and I don’t know where to start. All good on the friends side though. So if I may:

1. A tighter boarder (don’t disagree btw - just thinking we may have diff reasons why this matters to us?) is good because why?

2. You like withdrawing from WHO because why?

3. Is Russia (not Ukraine but Russia) good, bad or neither in your mind?

Thank you for sharing. I’m not sure I’ve ever had the chance to have this kind of conversation!

Thank you Jeanne. I will answer your questions after going to a quick workout (which I would much rather be on here 😆)

Hi. 1. I think we are a country built on immigration and welcome immigrants to come thru the right channels. But we shouldn’t have open borders - which is what we had for a long time under Biden. 2. WHO- personally didn’t like how things were handed during COVID. Don’t want my tax dollars going there.

3. Russia is beyond awful.

Thanks for asking :)

Are you interested in my take on these 3 questions or do you feel like you already know it? (Tone here is meant to sound curious - not mean just fyi).

Would love to hear!!
