For those who celebrate, I would love to hear your 2026 planner lineup. For Hobonichi, I will be using the A5 cousin with the Moomin cover and a repurposed old Weeks Mega. I’m also using a couple of Sterling Ink A5 common planners. For writing down the feelings, I am a Midori Codex user. My main pens are the Pilot Vanishing Point and Sailor Pro-Gear. As someone who needs to write to think/plan/problem solve/understand where I am in time and space, it is exciting to Hobonichi in the governerd space.
I have used the Hobnichi cousin in the past, but for 2025 and 2026 I am using the Laurel Denise Scout in the large size. You can see your month and week/days at the same time. It's been a game changer for me. For my pen I love my tried and true Pilot G-2 05. I have tried many other pens and keep coming back to this one. But in Hobnichi I prefer to use the Uni JetStream.
I've used a ton of planners over the years, and am a fan of Laurel Denise. She has such innovative layouts. I haven't used the Sterling Ink planner yet, but have been keeping an eye on it for several years. If I were to pop back into a Tomoe River paper planner, it would be at the top of my list to try. I haven't gone into the world of fountain pens yet. But I know a lot of serious planner people really love them.
If you don’t mind adding significant volume to the book, you could definitely use a Hobonichi as a scrap/smash book. Hobonichi paper is super thin and sturdy, making it a favorite for fountain pen users. At the same time, people enjoy “chunking out” their Hobonichi with photos/washi/stickers/ephemera/etc. I am boring and just write in mine, but my impression is that I’m in the minority.
People definitely scrapbook in their Hobonichis! If you went to YouTube I know you could find a lot of videos with people showing the different ways they use their Hobonichi planner.
I’m a Sterling Ink A5 half year fan! I love Pilot Frixion pens for the erasability. I plan, journal, memory keep and use ALL the stickers! Currently loving Simple Paper’s monthly sticker collections.
I love your stickers! They remind me of Catherine’s designs, but with more cozy vibes and less architecture. You have influenced to try Frixion. Their heat sensitivity makes me nervous, but I live in Alaska and accidental heat exposure is less of a concern. I want to use them for (attempting to improve at) time blocking.
I'm just dying over the comment "Does anyone have a warehouse we can fill?" Thanks for the humor, I needed it! Also, garages are a good place to start...you have those in MN, right?
Question about the stain remover. Does it discolor clothes that aren't white? I've tried that Messy Mouth stain remover that influencers rave about (only seen it on white with berry stain) and it discolored tan shorts.
I'm an educator by trade (retired...now editing for a 2nd career!) and I'm a simple girl with the Blue Sky planners, but I did just downsize a bit to the WAAV calendar, and I like the added features. There is a different theme every month, and a self-check in at the end of the month. Occasionally I need notes on the days of the week, but what I really need is a large month at a glance. Also, since I still live the school calendar, my year "started" in August, so I'm a fan of academic calendars still.
I also love Puracy stain remover and their cleaning products are great as well and have refills. And Olive and June home mani kit is the best. You can even buy their polish now at Walgreens and Target. My nails currently painted with O and J color.

I just googled your planner, and that is a very clever layout. I’m also a huge fan of Pilot G-2s. I feel that pen deserves more love than it gets.

I have been wanting to switch over.. but get intimidated! Do people scrapbook journaling with these?

Just just cracked open a Deit Coke Lime and ordered the banana cat toy. LOL 💚
My cat will get a new banana toy for Christmas. He loves them and looses his mind.

Nope. I use it on colors and whites. It got a stain out if my husbands eddie bauer green tshirt that nothing else could get out no discoloring.
Love that these are all posted. I kept thinking what was that thing Sharon was talking about…?!? Yahoo!!
