It is astonishing to me that so many who watched with horror the events of January 6 unfold-live on our screens- can succumb to the fiction that they didn’t see what they actually saw.
Are our elected representatives serving their constituents or something else entirely?

While I understand the pain a state might suffer for having millions of dollars blocked, I do not understand caving. There is a separation of state and federal power for a reason. A president can't pardon a state convicted criminal for a reason. Congress holds the power of the purse. If the president withholds lawfully allocated funds for political purposes, it should be fought.
