On the afternoon of Jan 23, a federal judge issued a temporary injunction blocking the implementation of the executive order banning birthright citizenship for the children of undocumented immigrants. The judge said that in their 40 years, they had never seen something so “blatantly unconstitutional.” Expect this case to be appealed up to the Supreme Court.
