For almost 200 years, we have ministered to the poor in New York City. Nicely put, Kahlil and so sad to read that the village did not receive fair compensation ,it would seem.
I'm glad that a sign has finally been erected to share the history of people who lived in that 5 acres space with dignity. If there is any remunerations for the progeny of the past inhabitants of the village, may it be realized now as a measure of fair play to a people who have suffered so much because of bigotry and racism in our country.
