I’d love to dig deeper into the education system, history, how funding got tied up with property tax, why the pay of professors in college are not proportional to the funding the universities get, why the US just doesn’t value teachers?
I’d love an issue that explains and dives deeper into Congress and its function, from rules, votes, speakers, committees and more. The process to get out of the government shutdown was interesting and confusing for most people. What’s cloture? What is a continuing resolution? Maybe even sprinkle in the issue with Rep Grijalva and also how TX 18 still doesn’t have a Rep almost a full year after Rep Turner passed away.
I'd love to hear more about the systemic issues in the US healthcare system. The recent article about the primary care physician shortage really got my wheels churning. Is anyone trying to fix this? What bills should we be bugging our Congress members about? Are there recommendations to work within the system more successfully? Are we just screwed? What system changes are realistic?

I’d like to learn more about why our health insurance in America is tied to having a job and if it will it ever be possible to unravel.
