I fear there is no William Buckley in today’s GOP. Anyone like him has been drummed out (see Adam Kizinger, for instance).

The crux of the matter is that White Supremacy is in the White House now and they need to be removed post haste, but we all know that there is a political process to do that and it is the vote, so, let's get with it and vote them out in 2026 and 2028.

I've often wondered if the John Birch mentality is something that is genetically inherent in someone who aspires to their way of thinking or is it because of the fact that they have been brainwashed into thinking that way by being taught it. Either way, it is toxic and drastically narrowminded.

There is so much deception in politics now and sound thinking is so much needed . That is why I keep on reading and weighing things out in my mind about what is going on in our world now. Also, what is disconcerting is the fact that in my 81 years of life , I can look back and see that some of my loved ones have been dupped into accepting the MAGA mentality ,much to my chagrin. How do I counter this? By continuing to love them anyway and hope that with time and experience they will see the light and adjust accordingly.

In the meantime, let's keep up the good fight and press on.

Interesting that the John Birch society was born in Indianapolis. The second wave of the KKK was also re-born in Indiana in the 1920’s, and had more members than the original. What’s the matter with Indiana!?!

Also, the John Birch society’s playbook is identical to the 1920’s KKK. Read “Fever in the Heartland.”

Thank you for this important article. We must learn from it, as we must evolve and stop repeating history!
