Here’s what we actually use — and love.

Vanicream: Designed by pharmacists at the Mayo clinic, Vanicream is amazing at keeping chapped skin away in the winter. It doesn’t sting or burn and is free from many common allergens.
Awake by Jen Hatmaker. If you want a memoir you’ll rip through in one sitting, pick this one up. The book begins when Jen is awakened in the middle of the night by her husband voice texting his mistress. And what happens next is unexpected, moving, and important.
From Melanie:
This is one of those products you didn’t know you needed (or even knew existed?) but won’t be able to live without once you have it. If you eat soft or hard boiled eggs, this is a must. You pop the eggs in, add a little water, walk away, and it sings a song when your eggs are ready. It’s so easy, Melanie’s daughter uses it almost every day!
Melanie’s son is picky, but he happily puts these on when heading to the field on a cold fall or spring day! They have a soft fleece lining but are not at all bulky. They can be worn under uniforms or on their own. Great for sledding or skiing too!
From Terry:
Terry says they’ve been an Owala girly for a LONG time, and this one is a must have! They love that it fits in the cup holders in their car, and the handle is dreamy. Bonus note from Terry: “It feels like I could really defend myself if I had this in hand.” Craig uses the same model, different color, so we can attest to its greatness.
Terry loves collecting local art, and this is one of their favorite artists in Minnesota, Russ White. He is SO kind, and his colored pencil time lapses on instagram are CRAZY.

Incense Inspired by National Parks
Dani loves these incense cones because a) they are inspired by National Parks b) have such cute artwork on each tin and c) smell SO great (not your typical ‘too strong’ incense). Her favorite scent depends on the season but for Autumn, but she often reaches for Big Bend because it’s reminiscent of campfire (in a good way) and has a nice spice to it.
Speaking of the outdoors, if you’re headed out hiking anytime soon, Rebecca loves these hiking boots! She’s a big hiker but also admits she’s clumsy and has suffered multiple broken toes and twisted ankles because of it. These boots have great ankle and toe protection, and are good for a 10 mile day or a stroll outside.

Mascara for a Makeup Minimalist
Mandy loves this mascara, especially the philosophy behind this brand. Brown is great for a redhead/blue-eyed/fair complexion, but she’s going to order their new gray shade next!

Ed is a fan of butter. And he loves it even more when it comes out fancy!
