Alyia Rahman’s testimony video needs to be broadcast widely. Disabled, boxed in by ICE with no where to go, dragged out of her vehicle, injured and detained. How does make anyone safe? His does this make America great?
Thank you for your interview with Lt Governor Flanagan. A strong, reasonable voice speaking only the truth.
I wish everyone who makes a "if you just stay out of their way, you won't get hurt" comment would read it as well. The only way to stay out of their way is to not leave your home. Even then, their door-to-door raids might get you anyway. I'm hoping the news about 700 leaving don't make people complacent. That leaves 2300 here!
This is a master class in what it means to be a public servant. What a wonderful interview and I am happy that Minnesota has Peggy Flanagan as a member of their government. Last week's interview with Angie Craig, with the response that there isn't much that can be done until midterms, sounded to me like giving up. This interview was a stark contrast to that and the Lt Governor provided very specific ways to get involved and provide support. Thank you, Sharon!
A beautiful interview with Peggy Flanagan , Sharon . It was heartfelt and honest .
We are truly in a relay and must stay well and strong in our resolve to right the ship of state during these times of resisting the Trump dystopian regime that seeks to make our country white and Christian . Their KKK tactics are abhorrent and an affront to our founding documents because the root of their methods smack of hate and meanness .
Our response must be to stand firmly against such thinking as we promote the good that must be rendered in our everyday lives toward each other .
My least favorite words from Sharon in these interviews are, “We’re running out of time and need to wrap up…” Thank you for helping us meet and be inspired by educated and informed professionals who love democracy and this country and who speak truth and bring hope.
This was an incredible conversation that moved me to tears. Great discussion with lots of truth and inspiration. Definitely a different experience with Peggy Flanagan compared to when talking with Angie Craig. Thank you, Sharon and Peggy.
