I am spending my weekend packing, because this Tuesday, May 20, I am speaking at Eastern Kentucky University Center for the Arts. I hope to see you there! The event is open to the public, and you can still buy tickets here.
I agree with you, justkima. My mind was blown but I was also very angry. I knew pharma was greedy but this was more shocking than I could have imagined. The amount of money that has gone to previous CEOs and the current one. All of it for the almighty dollar over caring for others and their lives. 😡😭
I really don't know what the answer is because the bottom line is that is the way our system is, pharmaceuticals are for profit and as long as it stays that way, I don't see this changing. We either need more government regulations or more government investment to offset or a combo of both.
Wow! That article called The Price of Remission by Propublica...🤯🔥🤯
I mean, I know this is how it works for many drugs, but I just don't have words.

Sharon, will you be producing any new episodes of the podcast? Or just running previous episodes for now?
Looking forward to seeing you next Tuesday at EKU.
