thank you for featuring the Forest Service Mules and their humans. As this administration seems to want to crash our economy I worry greatly about regular people's abilities to care for their children as well as their equine companions. There is already a glut of unwanted horses, mules and donkeys.
As a long time book club member can I suggest Naomi Klein’s book The Shock Doctrine or at least feature her interview that is in Rolling Stone right now

I just want to say that I think your research and presentation of the facts is top notch and very enjoyable to read. I like that the disagreements with the current administrations policies are fact based and not just another “Trump bashing” forum. Those exchanges are exhausting and depressing. I hope that this space will never stoop to that level.
I do think that the proper attitude to have over the next 3-1/2 years is to embrace and support any sliver of what they are doing right and not be so focused on protesting and ranting about the things we can’t change. I tell my colleagues that we are experiencing a full force test of the robustness of the constitution. And those who would believe the slant of the left media or the slant of the right and think that our country is doomed for destruction are those who do not see the beauty in the design of our system and have the audacity to think they could do better.
