I don’t agree with her about much of anything, but I have to appreciate any Republican (specifically, MAGA) who has enough backbone to go against Trump.

MTG knows Trump’s days are numbered, leadership in the MAGA movement is up for grabs, and she’s here for it.

Happy to use MTG to help end this shutdown and get Americans the support and access they need for their Healthcare, but she still gives me the willies. I think she sees her seat in congress in danger and she's just doing what she can to save her own butt. Show her where to sign the Healthcare laws in to place....then show her the door

I agree, and that’s exactly what should be happening. Congress is supposed to be held accountable to their constituents, not the president. So if she thinks she’s going to lose her seat and is going against her party to fight for something that the people who vote for her want, good! I would love to see more members of congress doing this.

Not gonna lie, until she said something in an interview I watched part of, I was unaware that Congress was out of session. I keep seeing Mike Johnson everywhere (even when I don’t want to - he’s like a bad, creepy penny that keeps turning up) so I assumed they were “working.” It’s shameful they aren’t. I guarantee they’re still getting paid.

Sometimes all it takes is one little crack to let the light in. Let’s hope these differences with the administration on a few issues lead to questioning more of them.

I saw Rand Paul speaking out about the killing of Venezuelans on boats yesterday. These are two people I don’t typically agree with but I’m happy to find common ground and hope for more.

We're more alike than we are different, in that we all care about our kids well being. But I'm not sure I'll ever consider MTG to be a voice of reason when she also discusses Jewish space lasers.

We are literally in the Twilight Zone. And kudos to all of the women standing up to Trump, including MTG.

Forever cautious of MTG but willing to be hopeful and a listener… let’s see what next week brings us lol

What's wild is that they could give us all FREE healthcare. It would even save the country money, and they choose not to. Fighting for *barely* affordable healthcare is so maddening.

This does give me some hope- not that MG is moving to center but that it is normal in America to work with the opposition in order to get things done. Maybe there is some hope down the road- for whatever reason she has broken with trump. MAGA might be starting to learn that trump is out for himself and using them.

Never did I ever think I would agree with anything coming out of MTG’s mouth, but alas, here we are. I’m using this moment to remember that no matter where someone is on the political spectrum that we have far more in common than we are led to believe.

I wish I could believe that MTG is being outspoken for the citizens of the US, but then I remember that she’s up for re-election and may be pulling a card from Trump’s book. Say one thing to get elected and then flip the script.
