What an incredible read. The part about continuing on while life in our close circle is difficult resonated as I was also caring for a parent at the end of her life over this past year of intense political insanity. My personal view on how such an unqualified, immoral person was elected to presidency has little to do with allies voting for him and more to do with them not showing up at all. I think those that voted for him have not ever been on the side of freedom for all…or perhaps I’m in denial as to how someone who stood as an ally could ever set aside the needs of those being persecuted for their personal comforts. Thank you, Mr. Glaude! I’m looking forward to reading your book. May we continue to work diligently towards a truly free country in these next 250 years!

Great conversation and another reminder to me that I must stay active in the quest of “No one is free until we ALL are free!”

As someone who has made it to 66, it is clear that life keeps going during difficult times. When that happens I have noticed that my focus does not change, it concentrates. I pull in. I focus really intensely on my core. Myself, my people, my values. That is where I spend my energy, time, wisdom and treasure. I could not see this at first, but over time and oh so many difficult situations, it is clear.

We will get there is my motto and I want to help to pave the way.
