I know that too often, politicians seem to be narcissists, ne’er-do-wells, and naysayers: a dreaded trifecta in public service. But some elected officials are trying to use their platforms for something more than just mugging for cameras and making their coffers overflow after their most recently tweeted statement.
I recently had a chance to sit down with the governor of the great state of Utah, Spencer Cox.
As the Chair of the National Governors Association, he launched an initiative called Disagree Better. He hopes it will bring Democrats and Republicans together. In my extended interview with him (which you can listen to here), we spoke about ways he thinks Americans can overcome their differences.
Here’s part of my interview with Gov. Cox — listen to the whole conversation today on Here’s Where It Gets Interesting.
And let me know in the comments what your thoughts are!
