I don’t want to hear one more thing in my entire life about “Biden’s failed Afghan pullout” from anyone who voted for this monster. The cruelty was evident before he took office the first time with his so called Muslim ban now it’s on full display. These people deserve our help after what we did in their country.

This administration is heartless. Fix the immigration process, not just deport everyone.

I am heart sick over this. I worked on several asylum cases for individuals that came here during Operation Allies Welcome. They are true allies of the US, many of them extraordinarily brave women. They knew leaving meant leaving behind their beloved families. And now this.

I'm not sure I trust Krisi Noem's judgement on Afghanistan given her stance on Portland...

P.S love being able to click on the underlined words in the article that link to the resource!

Kristi Noem is absolutely not trustworthy!!! She has no sense of justice. What she thinks of black and brown people is abhorrent.

This is almost certainly going to make it more difficult for the US military to be as effective as it could be internationally in the future. Possibly for generations. Where is their concern for national security when there actually is a threat to national security?

Also, as others have said, this is simply inhumane.

I am puzzled why you will shorten the time these new Preamble deep looks are available. You are offering lots to read and think about on the topic, but why do I need to do that all in a week?

I think they will still be available to read and browse, they will just be in the archive instead of the home page

And ‘this’ is but 1 of seemingly endless tragedies this president & his administration (& his Congress!) are directly responsible for…& w/such glee. 💔 Their pain w/a cherry on top. Think they want everyone to gasp, & most of us are!

These rapid fire upheavals are intentional & in addition to inflicting pain, are intended to distract us…making it hard to focus on a response. We have to continue representing ‘the people’ by our calls, letters & presence. This is so hard..😕

This breaks my heart. There is no reason to be cruel to these people who have risked so much. I hope we as a nation are able to find our empathy again.

It's a very sad thing to see our country reverse course on it's promise to the Afghans who put themselves and their families in danger supporting our military efforts in their country not too many years ago. It sickens me to realize that there are those within our country who claim to be Christian but there version of it is harsh and cruel , which in itself is embarrassing toward the message that for years came from my faith tradition stressed Jesus's compassion toward everyone except for the Sanhedrin hypocrits in Jerusalem, which he called " a brood of vipers".

I fail to see any shred of decency in this administration’s actions. By endangering only the lives of these people they’re creating ripple effects that will affect every average American at some point. The only people benefiting from the policies of this administration are the uber-wealthy.
