Well, you could also use this metaphor to say a sunset doesn’t prohibit a sunrise. We certainly have gotten some things very wrong after this was originally published, but with persistent, hard work, it does feel like I’m starting to see some light on the horizon. Keep making sure that everyone around you knows that to resist this administration is to be on the right side of history!
And next time, let’s not take the daylight for granted. This won’t be fixed by just winning a few elections. We need some serious constitutional reform to make sure our laws reflect our ideals.
Voting the right people into office is imperative but so is keeping in touch with them to push for the right changes to be made during their time in office is what you are saying ,right?
One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned in my tenure as a Governerd, is that hope is a choice. Let’s all keep focusing on the sunrise.
