Young Americans' skepticism extends beyond domestic concerns to America's global role. The latest Harvard Youth Poll found that 40% believe the U.S. spends too much on foreign aid, compared with just 9% who say it's too little.
Young people represent our future and will ultimately determine America's place in the world. Our work on strengthening youth civic engagement must include emphasizing the importance of global citizenship. More on this topic to come."
